Anyone try Arrakis wheels on their Mav?

I have a 2024 hybrid, looking for options at 17". I searched but did not see anything... https://volvo-wheels.com/product/volvo-s80-oem-17x7-aluminum-alloy-wheel-arrakis-rim-9451348/

49 offset...
5x108

thanks!
You can easily search the aftermarket and keep in mind the Escape, Fusion and Bronco Sport should all have the same bolt pattern. Also keep in mind that fancy car wheels may not have the load carrying capacity of your Maverick. For the price of two new Volvo wheels you should be able to find a lightly used set of wheels and tires in the parts for sale section of this forum. There's fb marketplace and Craigslist as well.

I bought a lightly used set of 20" wheels with tires for $600 using the parts for sale section. It was a two hour drive to pick them up and the seller included lug nuts.

I bought 17" steelies for only $200 with tires, TPMS, lug nuts and center caps. Two tires were worn down close to indicators.

Ford Mach-E wheels fit just fine, but they are larger than 17". Why the obsession with tiny 17"tires?

Though the Escape may have the same bolt pattern, they may not fit. My Escape aftermarket 17" (snow rims) would fit on the Mav, but the nuts could not be tightened on Mav (Mav's have larger bolts than the Escape). Bought 17" Snows for the Mav., because they said same bolt pattern and would fit the Mav. Tire place found the problem with they went to install the tires on the Mav. Salesman screwup. So... Ended up having to buy new rims to fit the new Snow tires. Had I known this, would have stayed with the 18"s that are on the Mav. Dealer said that the speed showing on the dash vs actual with the 17" would be off 1/4 mph to the actual at 65. Figured close enough. In actuallty it is off 2 mph at 65 and 3 at 75. So, car mileage is now being inflated, MPG showing in the dash is off as is miles to empy (when miles to empty shows 50, I have over a 1/4 of a tank of gas showing in the dash). Need to look into Forescan so these numbers are correct again. Grrrr.

If you change wheel size, to keep the speedometer correct you just change the tire to match the rolling diameter. There are online calculators which will do this. No need for re-programming.

We use smaller wheels with larger tires to get more sidewall height which help protect against potholes. In a southern climate this likely isn't an issue, but head north and it's a different story.
Offset is really important, no matter what you do and OEM wheels vary wildly so going to a Volvo wheel might have this additional complication.

I loved the smaller wheels I had for the winter tires on my F150. Going back to the summers on the PVD wheels was a bummer in the spring because the Michelin winters were so much smoother - another benefit of going to a taller tire.

Wheels that stick out may look cool but rub fender liners and suspension bits. You can just turn up the radio and ignore that too.

Salesman did the calculation, that is where he came up with being off just 1/4 MPH at 65.. With having these smaller tires that are off that much, only option is to re-program.
