Trying one last thing before taking the truck to a headliner specialist
It isn’t what you think but it looks pretty cool
Hopefully these alteration pins hold it up, lol
I used a butt load of black with a sprinkle of pearl white ones for the “starlight” effect
Artistic solution for sure

had to get something bright in the pic so the camera wouldn’t brighten everything up…. So sorry about my face being in there

Realized the other day while washing the truck that my wheels are now 3 years old (bought them a month+ before my current truck arrived, had them on my previous truck and they looked terrible on the Area 51 stock height XLT I bought as a placeholder)

Getting a new windshield thanks to my windshield warranty I bought with the truck
Hopefully it’ll arrive soon, all the cracks do make it annoying to drive

At first I thought my a/c wasn’t working very well, turns out the windshield tint DOES make a big difference
My drive home is always west facing straight into the sun
Going to need to get the tint redone asap (when I have money lol)

I still can’t fathom why people lower trucks when it’s not a show truck.
I already feel like my ass is just inches above the pavement.

Some of us realize that 99% of trucks today never even see a dirt road let alone off road use, and that excess ground clearance is completely unnecessary. It's a lifestyle more than anything, we like sitting with our asses on the ground.

Suspensions still cycle normally, if designed and installed correctly. When a stock truck "bottoms out" you still have 6" of ground clearance. A lowered truck bottoms out with 2" of ground clearance. I'm not here to change your mind, but there are other trains of thought than your own.

Many of us have lifted trucks too. I have a lowered Maverick, a lowered Nissan 720, a lowered '99 Suburban and my hot rods are all low too. I also have an 1985 Toyota that I'm building into a mid-travel pre-runner.

Add miles I drove in my first Maverick and I’m over 100k Maverick miles
Lol

so glad I don’t have any projects to do to this truck…. Super pleased with how it’s done
Though I still wouldn’t mind having a second battery for the audio system
Just don’t have a great place to put another battery
