So I’m going through a bit of confusion right now. I tried using FordPass to navigate using my IPhone maps application. It said “navigation is not available”. But I know it works just fine when I use the voice commands through Siri instead. However, in the opposite way, climate controls can only be activated through FordPass voice, and not Siri.
I wish there were a single method that could take care of everything—navigation, climate, radio, etc. But it doesn’t look like that’s possible.
Which of the 3 methods does everybody use for their various functions? Seems like FordPass is for climate, volume, and reports about car status. Then Siri for map navigation based on your phone, calling or texting any contacts, and radio like Pandora or Spotify. And finally Alexa for internet information searches while driving.
Am I missing something? Do I really need all 3 methods like this? There’s got to be a simpler way.
