Vinyl wrap the cab in gloss black?

I received confirmation that my Cyber Orange XLT Hybrid was shipped yesterday. I'm trying to start visualizing some of the exterior modifications I'd like to do now that me getting my Maverick might actually happen lol.

Wasn't there a member (or a couple of members) here that had the cab wrapped? I'm trying to visualize what the contrast would look like with just the cab wrapped in gloss black. Then I can decide on wheels and tires and hood deflector and spoiler and flares and...

It seems to work well on the Maverick. I had the top wrapped on my Z06 and loved it. I recently saw a super duty (I forget the brand) with the cab wrapped and it looked terrible.

White Maverick with cab wrapped in black vinyl for a very unique look... especially with the Ford tonneau cover installed to carry that black look all the way back.

22" wheels (22x9) with 265/40 tires and it's lowered on Goodwin Racing springs - 2" front / 2.6" rear

Looks good on those Mavericks, but black = a good 10-20 degrees hotter in the summer. I never really understood the fad of having black roofs on new vehicles. Many even make you pay big $$ for that option. It wouldn't be for me.

I do think the matte black looks better than "gloss" would. It blends in with the other black trim pieces.

I think wrapping the cab gloss black would look pretty good on a Cyber Orange XLT. The white Maverick is the look I'm trying to achieve.
