Vehicle Delivery Date

For those of you that have gotten your truck, was there a delivery date when it got closer? I'm currently within the set window (April 5th to the 11th) but I assumed the date would be narrowed down by now. Dealer is saying when it shows up it shows up but I find it hard to believe a $30k truck doesn't have any sort of tracking information when an $11 Amazon package does. I realize this isn't coming through fedex but they must know what truck it's on if they were able to say on March 30th it was in Indiana.

Any one ever get an actual date or just a "hey your truck is here" call?

Don't be surprised if it slips outside of that date. Mine was originally March 23-29, then March 30th-April 4th, now 4th-10th. You can get a bit more info if you know the railcar number or check somewhere like Palsapp, but ultimately you're at the mercy of the truck and train logistics.

I am in the same boat. My truck is optimistically supposed to arrive at Castrucci Ford (Milford, OH) between April 21-26. The dealer checked and said the truck was travelling by rail and was in Illinois. I heard (in the forum) according the Ramp one code (RA8P) from the window sticker that the truck will exit the train in Louisville and from there will reach my dealer by Truck carrier. As for the Million dollar question; Will it be on time? Hey, it could even be early! lol! It will be worth the wait! Sooo close now!

Ours left on a railcar 3/16 went to OK, Kansas, MO, IL, OH, GA, 3 stops in FL and 'supposedly' in south Orlando today. As a former logistics mngr this boggles my mind w inefficiency.

Mine is in KC now, which is ~3.5 hours from me in IL. Do you know where in IL yours went after KC?

I'm from Chicago - NW IN and I didn't write the city down, it was not up in Cook Co or northern areas though. This was about 3/28-29 I only checked every few days.

It would cheaper, easier and less stressful if we all just went down to Mexico and wait for the truck to pop out of the factory. Get in it and drive home. Plan a vacation around it maybe, haha.

I work in supply chain/manufacturing and I'm with you. As someone who sits on a factory floor, this whole process has been a little mind boggling

Oooo I would have done that if it was available!!! I travel to Mexico every year & have a few friends living in different parts, I would just spend weeks down there!! That is a long haul back to Orlando thou! I have a past semi driver friend w a winter home south of Mexico City, he has already made his way back to FL w his semi.

Can you believe my wife was on vacation during the time period mine was being built and had no interest in doing a factory tour to see it

OMG I would LOVE to see how this process goes on the production line!!! BUT... I am an OCD, over analyzing from every angle, person and that factory visit would also be frustrating I'm sure!! I have a high school & Purdue college friend who had worked for Ford as a production engineer in Chicago for many yrs. Several yrs ago he went over to Tesla, he helped w the Model Y production line roll out and is still with them.

My delivery date is 4/3-4/9. My truck is currently on Spencer Mass awaiting a carrier to pick it up to bring to the dealer. It has been there for the past few days.
