I was thinking about getting a cove for my 2024 XL. Not sure about the antenna that sticks up towards the back end of the top.

The little stubby antenna should be easily unscrewed by hand, then just put it in your console and screw it back on hand tight when you remove the cover.

My thoughts on car covers is you get what you pay for. The cheap ones don't last and don't offer much protection from the elements. Several manufacturers of quality covers such as covercraft and California Car Covers just to name 2. I have a covercraft outdoor cover for my F150 that I've used for years.

Thank you for the information. I had no idea that you could take the antenna off.

Jumping in here to rant about Seal Skin covers; please save your money and do not purchase from them. So many issues after just six months:
  • They mention that their products are waterproof -- however, my cover every morning is damp (it's been nothing but blue skies for months here in Northern CA; cool mornings --> dew), and that dampness marks up my Mav, which leads to additional cleaning/wipedown every time I remove the cover
  • When I remove my cover, there is often a white haze all over the hood, windows and roof. From previous crappy covers that I have owned, this was an indication that the inner felt liner was failing and the cover will soon be deteriorating and falling apart
  • The cover has quickly faded out by the sun (3rd shot of folded up bottom to illustrate). I'm surprised that they market boat and furniture covers as well
  • Service is terrible: When I reached out with these issues for some answers, their only response is "Send us $35 and we'll ship out another." No real solutions, just another car cover headed to landfill
Hear you loud and clear re: you get what you pay for, but I was expecting a little more than the lower-grade ones I had on my Mustang in the past. Not $700-Covercraft-more, but what a waste.

If anyone has ideas on a good lightweight "summer" cover, perhaps I'll try that route next. I'll trade the full-weather protection for some solid UV/dirt/dust protection and simply not use a cover during the rainy season.

/end rant
