USB Version

Has anyone seen a specification of the USB data port on the console? Is it USB 2 or 3? The USB symbol alludes to version 2 but I have not found it in a writing.

Yea I cant find that in writing but I would guess they went with an older version. Several pieces of older tech in the maverick to keep it at that low price point. Since I plug in during my commutes for apple play, I dont charge my phone at any other point in the day. So it's sufficient for sure unless ur phone is a bit older and the battery is reduced.

I'm less concerned about charging than I am with data throughput.

Think usb 3 ports are normally blue, haven’t noticed that I pics that I’ve seen so I would assume usb 2

Not sure if they are USB3, but both the USB A and C both fast charge my iPhone and will charge up an iPad mini

I'd be shocked if you could get the Maverick to pull more data than a USB2 port could supply.
