USB cable issue with Samsung Galaxy - Water detected

I have been the owner of my Hybrid XLT with the 30 package. for about a week. Loving it.

I have found an issue where when I connect my phone (Samsung Galaxy 10e) to the USB cable, that is plugged in to the USB port, I get a warning on my phone that water is detected in the charging port. This is the weird part and I don't know if anyone else is having this issue, but I will always get the message if I follow this sequence (car off, plug in phone, start car, get warning on phone.) If I follow this sequence I never get the message (car on, plug in phone, all is well). I am guessing some voltage issue.

That is the only issue I have found. Loving the truck.

Maybe Cable issue? I know the moisture detected thing in Samsung phones is common since the galaxy s7 and sometimes can vary cable to cable.

I've had issues with my samsung charging in my car (not a maverick) when I turn off/on my car while its still plugged in. For whatever reason, if I did that, it would mess with my haptic feedback and I would have to reset the phone to get it back. It may be an issue with Samsung and possibly just need to plug in after the car is already on.

It could mean that there is a short in connection.

• Look in your USB port and check to see if any of the connection prongs are bent or broken
• Try a different cable. A short could be caused by failing insulation.

Thanks all. I thought it weird. Bought new cable to see if annual difference. Over all this is a great truck
