Upgrade the DAC? Possible?

Anyone have any idea how to get a decent DAC in the maverick? I talked to audioquest about their Dragonfly, and was told that it isn’t possible wo an aux in analog input. Anyone know of an upgraded DAC that could be installed since all my audio will come off my iPhone via usb?

Seems kind of pointless. You can just play the audio files via USB from the phone to the truck.

i believe the BO amp uses A2B , a digital interface. I am not sure if standard audio uses this though. There are aftermarket devices for A2B but I am not sure if these reach >100dB SNR.

A DAC is a Digital to Analog Converter. "Standard" CD audio is a DAC with 16 bit resolution sampled at 44.1kHz, with low 90dB signal to noise ratio (SNR). A "good" DAC will have more than 16 bit resolution, and higher than 44kHz sampling. Some DACs by AKM have greater than 125dB SNR, which is over 50 times better.
