Update on Dealer blocked me

Turns out, my dealer screwed up… They neglected to remove the bed extender, an item they told me in November needed to be removed and I agreed.
Blocking me on tweeter got me motivated. So, yesterday (31st) I did a very shallow dive and found someone in the mothership at Ford. This morning I got a call from my dealer. After a few minutes and a few mea culpas, we got things straight.
So I recommend everyone call their dealer and reconfirm their orders.

dbarr, I could never figure out why I got a production date on essentially the same build from Jim Hudson when I ordered 8/2 and you ordered 6/10. My build date was Jan 24 but got moved to Feb 7 then 14. Same vehicle except you got 360 and I didn’t but the extender was the killer. I never really called the dealer for fear of getting screwed or bad juju. We had different salesmen but that didn’t matter. If mine actually gets built I’ll give you a heads up if you want to look at it at the dealer (maybe that’s a bad idea).

I’m glad someone has gotten one from Jim Hudson. That gives me hope.

I told my dealer to take out the bedmat last September and he told me it was done. He called me out last week to see a Maverick that had come in to the dealership. First one I have actually seen. Love it.

We started talking and started looking in their system and it turned out the freaking $140 bedmat was still on my order. A 2% contraints item. He took it out and I avoided jail time for assault and battery.
