Unit down, parts on backorder...

So not sure how many owner on here have their Mavs in for various issues and are awaiting backordered parts. My month old Tremor is down and awaiting a new ABS control module.

After 2 weeks the dealerships has finally received a bit of a timeline to pass on to me from Ford if Canada... backordered part will begin shipping January 15th ish....

Lol they did, an ecosport... it's a ride, but hardly my mav...especially on the tail end of deer season....

Thankfully the dealership, Carleton Place Ford, has been awesome! They have been hounding ford canada for info which had been less the forthcoming up until yesterday....

The ecosport is a ride, but kinda feels like an overweight and under powered sxs....

Dang, and I thought the Escape (1.8L EB) I got as a courtesy car was bad, they discontinued the Ecosport for reason, it's a junk box.

My ABS module went bad on December 23rd... my truck is dead on the dealers parking lot awaiting for the spare part so I guess you and I are competing with each other? lol!!!!!!
the module sounded like it was staying "on" making a noise all the time and several lights came up on my dash too.

That is absolute BS, I would call ford customer service and insist on a loaner!!!

I have been down and out since November 2nd when I was 20km from the nearest maintained road, I contacted the dealership to find out how to disable the pump (mine was staying on too) until my deer hunting trip was over. I called the dealership on the 17th on my way back to civilization, at which time they told me they couldn't get me a loaner until the following week so it went in on November 23 and is STILL THERE!! After much prompting and threats to transport a deer carcass in the back seat of the Ecosport they gave me I got an ETA on the replacement ABS module... second week of January they are supposed to ship to ford, I have had it listed as a "Unit Down Emergency Order", and I'm in the first order group.

Hopefully I will have it back but January 23, and I am hoping for info next week. If I don't get the info and have to call them again or wait any longer they will be putting free accessories on my truck...

I have made more payments on it while it has been in the dealerships possession then while it was in mine....

Man, I must be living right, when I took my Mav in for service they gave me a '24 Edge for a loaner. Now that's not a bad vehicle.

I was just told I should expect to wait about 15 days just to get a estimated delivery date on the spare part and they also have the order marked as unit down. Tomorrow I am visiting the dealer again to go talk to the service manager. Based on what he says next step I will call ford customer service.
