I'll have to go take a look, but it might be for the height adjuster lever which isn't normally on other cars' manual seats. It moves the seat up and forward, then you slide it back to where you need it.
I am not sure what all the wiring under the seat is for. I have an XLT non-luxury package with the manual operated driver's seat. in the last couple of days. I've noticed if I turn the truck off and remain sitting in the truck for any amount of time. I feel a vibration Under the Seat.I It almost feels like a massage chair, And I continue to feel that vibration As long as I am sitting on a seat. And I'm talking hours even after the motors turned off. Keys remove doors locked.. I am not sure what is causing this. But I am concerned that it's got to be running down the batperiod. I keep a jump back in the truck so hopefully that will revive it if it depletes the battery.
