I have a base XL and performed the steering wheel swap. Before the swap, I never noticed anything weird with the turn signal, afterwards though I feel like the signal mechanism is all out of wack. If I turn my wheels just a few degrees, like, just barely to the left and back to center, the signal turns off. Imagine turning into a center left turn lane, blinker on, just barely turn the wheels, then the signal turns off when straightening out, but I haven't actually performed the turn.

Turning right, the signal requires like a full 180degrees before automatically turning off. It seems like the "center" for the signal has somehow shifted and I'm clueless to what went wrong, and where to look to fix.

Did you move the steering shaft with wheel removed?

If so, you might have something pinched related to the turn signal cam.

Good morning, Austin! I can look into things for you on my end. Feel free to send over a private message including your VIN and dealer info at your earliest convenience.

It may have been that when you changed the steering wheel, the Blinker Fluid shifted from the left signal to the right, Which means that the left signal turns off too soon and the right stays on longer. You may want drain some from the right and add some more to the left. Here is a synthetic blend that works for both LED & Filament bulbs.

I’m surprised a Wolverine knows how to use a turn signal. Go Green ;P

We don't use them on purpose because we don't want Spartan fans to know what direction were going, for fear that they'll tip the bus over and burn it after they lose to Michigan. LOL

Don't worry, we don't need to know the direction, just as long as it keeps you guys as far away from the NCAA tournament and your coach from doing this to Izzo...
