Huh? Do you mean 70% load on the power meter? I try to keep mine under 10%, with bursts at 30% when climbing 7% grades. I average about 50mpg in the summer and 45mpg in winter. At 70% load I'd bet that you get really poor mileage.

That thing on your dash is a power meter. You've been on this site long enough to know that so I don't know why you are confused.

Load is how loaded the engine is in any instant in real time at any rpm.

Load in the eCVT hybrid is very, very consistent at all road speeds and all engine rpm. About 67% to 72% load in well over 90% of your drive time.
