I gotta raise the bullshit flag on that. The only way to improve gas mileage is to change the throttle map to make you go slower.

I tried a tuning module on another car and the gains were mostly in smoother throttle response, not wild power jumps. Warranty-wise, anything that plugs into OBD can raise eyebrows at the dealer, so I always pull it before service
For comparison, I had good results with https://www.gantuning.com/chiptuning/nissan/maxima/ this Maxima tuning on my old Nissan, mainly because it let me switch modes without messing with the ECU
