My 2023 Maverick soft roll up cover vibrates when driving and especially when it is windy. I install the cover as tight as I can and it seems as tight as a drum. but it will bounce/vibrate from the air flow. Any solutions?

Unfortunately I don't have one and hopefully someone can comment on this.

Mine does the same thing and I expected it.

I don't believe there is a fix for soft cover floppage (new word?) other than buying a hard cover.

As long as it doesn't make noise I'm OK with it and mine does not make noise. I just don't fixate on it.

I have truxedo x15pro. I see it bounce a little but I don't hear it. Stays locked down the sides at the velcro. No wrinkles at stillness.
Best cover for soft I have had.

Quick question for those with the soft roll ups. Would you take your truck through an automatic car wash? I was getting ready to purchase one,

I have with the truxedo roll up that is on my Chevy, multiple times. The Maverick, I would but I only use the touchless style for it. No issue there either.

There's only two types of covers I ever bought for any of the trucks I owned.
1. A hard shell topper from LEER.
2. A fold back trifold hard top cover.

They both offer superior protection for anything in the bed. They can't be cut and both lock. The most important thing is they'll never flop and make noise when you're driving. I never had leaks with either one. I currently have a hard top trifold cover on my '22 Larait that locks from the inside of the bed when the truck cab is locked. Some versions have an external lock on top of the cover that you'll need a key to unlock it. Since the bed is already short, a retracting roll cover wasn't an option for me.

All soft covers are going to blow around when driving. As long as it doesn’t make noise you are good!

Hate it when I overthink a solution to a problem....I have been an engineer too long....

Get a large round magnet and attach it in the bottom center of the soft cover. make a coil of copper wire that is a little larger than the diameter of the magnet. Mount the coil of wire to the bed of the truck so that the magnet free floats inside of it and you have just made a speaker out of the soft cover. Now hook up your new speaker to car stereo and enjoy the vibrations your cover is making.
