Trusting the "Brake Hold" feature

I accidentally turned on the brake hold, when I was trying to switch drive modes.

Come to find out, it's one of my favorite things about the truck-

It's great not standing on the brakes all the time, in town...

But in the back of my mind, I sometimes wonder if I should really trust that I won't suddenly lurch forward???

Using it a year and half hasn't failed me yet, but still keep my eyes on the car/road in front of me. Can't be to careful. Love it
