No I don't. the "wealth gap" like so many artificial gov't labels like "poverty level" and "minimum wage" are nothing more than a political tool to pit groups against each other to build voting bases and help parties grab and retain power. Class envy is poisonous for a civilized society and groups use it as a weapon. It's far too complicated to debate here and I don't want politics to spoil the vibe on the forum so I'm not going to keep it going.

Who said anything about the government redistributing anything? The American people need to demand better pay from their employers. In 2019 Ford’s CEO was paid 157 times more than the median Ford employee. That’s just his salary, it doesnt include his signin bonus, relocation expenses, air travel use etc etc. it also doesn’t include the other senior management of Ford and their mega salaries.

It's irrelevant what CEOs make compared to worker bees. I've worked in union jobs and non-union and the guys at the top always make big bucks no matter what, "deserved" or not. We had a saying at 1 employer when the management salaries and stock transactions were published: the big guys have the stock options and the rest of us have the WALK option! If you have a job and you think you deserve better $- ask for it or leave- your choice. That's what is great about America and Capitalism. Don't complain about the other guys- go make your own and be happy! Class envy is poisonous for a civilized society and groups use it as a weapon. No, but I have my mother's 1967 Mustang hardtop with the original 289 2 bbl V8.
That really was all made in America. I am now retired and I can take care of it.
And folks, I am going to buy the Maverick but I wanted to check out the competition and
see how the rest of you felt.
The fact that we are all on the web site kind of means that, in the end, we do prefer the Ford Maverick.

If you are in the market for this kind of truck you need to ask yourself the question:

Do I buy the Ford Maverick which is made in Mexico OR do I buy the Hyundai Santa Cruz which is made in Alabama, USA?
