Thanks for the photographs, but I'm not a fan. Wear and tear would be an issue for me and I think it spoils the lines of the truck. Just my opinion.

Same opinion. Canvas tops look ok new but my xperience as been leaking, quick fading and dirt in less than a year…and so prone to cutting open with a pocket knife. I have a $20 winch from HFreight that could pickup my prior fiberglass topper (much bigger bed) in minutes….plan is to keep an open eye for some good ideas that come out..since Maverick that is on order may not show up until Jan Feb 2022.

Interesting idea, never thought of a soft topper so you don’t loose the use of the bed for larger items, etc. but from the web site, it looks like it may not be a tight fit causing rain to seep in? I currently have on order the hard folding top.

I'm new to the group and hope my first post is helpful to the community.

I haven't reserved my maverick yet, but I do know I would want a soft top. I have 2 dogs, go camping and want a soft top so I can easily pop it open or close depending on what I'm doing.

I'm not sponsoring softopper.com, but I do like their products and I'm basing the following rending mockups off their Ford Ranger 2021 size (Closes things to a Maverick in bedside)

The following are for the Hot Pepper Red, Area 51 and Cactus Grey.

So far I like the Cactus grey and brown top.
What do you like?

Also, if you guys want to see other colors or side angles, let me know and i'll try my best .

Thank you for taking the time to do this. My machine will be a Velocity Blue Lariat. Beige will come close to matching the interior. What I would be willing to pay $1500 for? A kit that includes the topper that can take or leave a folding hard cover. Im saying the same hardware to mount both or either.

How a about a convertible rig. The soft cover on and off that uses the same mounts as your folding hard cover that could be used at the same time, or not. I live in 300 days of sunshine a year and that top would be rags in three years if left on.

I didn't realize Bestop and Softopper both still make their own versions. Bestop did buy Softopper in 2019, but hopefully we'll see unique versions from both of their shops for the Maverick!

Softopper confirmed with me that they will be making a soft top for the ford maverick! Design will take place Nov-Dec 2022, hopefully they will have some ready to put under the Xmas tree
