Tremor front camera

Anyone thinking we might be able to add the front camera that is used on the bronco sport badlands? I’ve seen a lot of posts for other switches being added front escapes and bronco sports etc and then being enabled in forscan. Is it logical we could do the same thing? It would seem the mount on the grille would need to be solved but can’t imagine someone can’t figure that out.

It would be great if you could add the camera.
On bronco sport it is linked to rock crawler mode that tremors don't have. But I guess that could be added too or a work around done.

The front camera is the one thing I wish they copied over from the Bronco sport and did not. I understand keeping the cost down.

I may just add some sort of trail camera off amazon.

How about a front camera and a dash cam combo? I know this one says backup cam but you could probably use it in front. Unsure about the actual mirror mount though.

doesn't get you low and close enough in the front where you really need it.

The three cameras go wherever you place them. You could put them on your splash guards if you wanted to but they would need a mini wiper blade and water tube there also!

so the cameras are water proof? no wipers or water jets need on the last 3 backup cams, would be nice though.

This one has 2 cameras rear and 2 cameras front 170° front view shown mounted on external rear view mirrors looking over hood. Not sure but may be wifi??? OOOPS FRONT CAMERA IS ON BACK OF MIRROR ON THIS ONE!

thanks for the link. the clamp on the mirror thing kills it for me. wifi can be nice but they still need power wires.

I may do something like this to my trimmer but need to trade my 22 hybrid XLT LUX that I have or my XLT with 4 pin and inverter ordered to cover constraints which has been carried over to 2023 if it comes in before my Tremor does. Then trade something in on a 24-25 plug-in hybrid. And sell one to my son.

When I installed a double-DIN Android Auto Pioneer deck a couple years ago, there were jacks on the back of it for multiple cameras. Seeing how the reverse camera activation I just tapped off the reverse lights, you could probably just add a switch to turn on a front camera on that head unit, too.

So I don't see Ford building completely different Sync systems- just a matter of finding the right wire to plug camera into and which "Drive mode" to tell it to turn it on?....

Except the Maverick does use a pretty much unique SYNC system on the non-Lariat Lux.

It's not even officially SYNC. Only Lariat Luxury Pkg gets Sync (Sync 3).
