Don't be too worried about removing the front bumper cover. Kind of fiddly work, but not difficult at all. The second and third times are even easier. If you can get the JJC LLC brackets, they are 100% worth it--perfect fitment, excellent quality.
Thanks for the info. The question in my mind is does the hybrid Lariat have the same holes for the brackets you mentioned. Would hate to order the brackets and go to the trouble of taking off the bumper only to discover they're not a match

I don’t remember how it ended up. I connected with alligator clips until it worked. I would have taken a picture
You can sleep better now. Hahaha. I figured out the switch swap. This time I focused on the included wiring directions rather than the whole project. The switch has 5 different scenarios depending on when and whether you want the switch to light up. When I get the DD fog kit, I'll be sure to buy a second switch. I like the clean look and easy operation. Thanks, again!

Came out pretty good from my point of view. Should I add the Raptor 3 LED's??

Hello, again. Thought I would update you on the stone guards I installed a few days ago in case you were thinking of doing the same.
Since it was next to impossible to find metal grid guards in a 5" size, I decided to get these 6" guards for $8.99 and see if I could adapt them to our fog lights.
I took a small "L" shaped bracket and bent to more of a "Z" shape to accommodate the extra size. I used the existing screws on the lights to attach the brackets and then added screws to attach the other end to the grid. I think it worked out well.
