Has anyone seen this on a hybrid, bottom of trans is wet.....did not appear to be a halfshaft seal. Very minor at the moment. Would appreciate any feedback from other that may have seen this.
I was doing my own oil change btw

My '23 Hybrid has a very small leak in the same place.
I'm putting off taking it to the dealer because it seems like a very minor issue to be out of a vehicle for probably a month.

Interested to see if anyone else has had this problem resolved by Ford service.

You may check those two bolts right there and cinch them up a bit. Clean it and see…

Do you have anything leaking from further forward in the engine bay? That looks like it's a spray coming from the front, which would be why the front bolt has spray on the front where the second bolt is only on the bottom because it's blocked by the front one.

I had a leak in the same place, but everything was equally covered because it was leaking red trans fluid from the axle seal down and accumulating at that area.

There is an open hole in the splash shield right inline with this area could be coming up through the hole road debris and rain making it look dirty and black. The splash shield is completely dry so hasn't dripped down on it

Nah, unlikely. That looks like it's getting wet with fluid, then catching road grime / debri.

Wonder how many of these ecvt leaks are masked by the undercover and dealer changes.

I don't think dealers want to mess with such a huge job and tie up a bay for not much payout. I saw somewhere is a 9-10 hrs job but dropping engine, removing ecvt resealing seems much more time consuming than that.

I did my first oil change today at 1000 miles. The oil filter was as heavy as a brick and I don't think anyone should go 7500 before first oil change
