Plastic parts on the bed are sacrificial. If you load things they are meant to be dinged without damaging a painted part. I agree, I don't like the black plastic bumpers and side skirts. They cheapen the look and they turn grey over time. That's why I really liked the Lobo when I saw it . And I like fog lights. The Lariat should also have painted parts and the seat emboss should say Lariat not Maverick- Lobo has Lobo emboss and Tremor has Tremor emboss in seats

Oh yeah, I get the point of the bed rail protection..Makes sense for the masses who are buying it and [ab]using it. But, the Lobo is low enough that I can easily reach over, and simply be careful.. For a 'sporty looking' street truck, it would have been nice to have a little more bling/color there. I know those people wanting a pickup to do pickup things want the protection, and there are Models available for those buyers.
