Tracking Options After Order Confirmation

Are there any tracking options for an order prior to Ford issuing a VIN? I have a confirmed order # and completion of the vendor COVP but don’t expect a VIN for months. Is there a way to track the order status in that interim period or do you just have to wait for Ford to issue a letter? Also, I understand orders can be changed for a period of time before a VIN is created. Do you have to request any order changes through your dealer?

There is no status until it is chosen for production and it is assigned a VIN. Unless it is previewed but most dealers won't tell you that because it gets the customer's hopes up then dashed.

You ordered through the dealer, you have no order with Ford. The dealer owns that order so any changes need to be made through that dealer.

Yup, just sit tight and count the how many sunrises/sunsets you witness before you get a notification from Ford with the scheduling of your build.
