Was wondering how many of us have used touch screen protectors. Seen them while browsing for Maverick accessories. Not sure is needed though.

Depends on how much you're concerned about things like micro-scratches on the screen. They'll develop over time and a screen protector would allow you to remove and replace it to start anew with unscratched glass. Cracking is less of a concern as it's not like a smartphone you're going to drop - unless you have a habit of punching the screens in your cars.

I'm using one. Can't really tell a difference but in a few years the screen should be like new. ~$10, pretty easy decision..

Cool yes It was inexpensive. Thought a phone is different. In your pocket dropping etc. But seems like cheap insurance.

I got a glass one that's made by Spigen. Makes the display have a matte look which helps cut down on glare.

However, it does make the display less sharp, like going from 1080p to 720p. This is noticeable in the daytime than the evening.

There are other one's that are clear, but, they appear to give off more glare in sunny conditions. Unless there's alternatives on the market with an Anti-Reflective coating.

One was recommended by a member who had a disdain for finger smudges left on the screen. I suppose if one was like-minded, this might help that scourge. Apologies to whoever posted that annoyance. I get how one would want to keep their Maverick as pristine as possible.

I bought one when I got my Maverick because I want the original screen to be in new condition for a long while. Mine is tempered glass (clear), with easy install & easy removal. Looks great and no glare for me.
