I was gung ho on em, for sure. Im actually renting a lifted big bend in a couple weeks. Super excited, it just got so many strikes against it as our daily driver that it didnt fit. Until the Tremor our regular driver was a 96 Bronco with a 351. It towed 6000lbs, went anywhere offroad that a non squatch could, and with the laundry on the roof fit everything we needed. 2 dogs, 15 gallons of water, couple propane tanks, groceries, and the laundry. When the new one came out I was soo excited but then I realized I had to have atleast a Black Diamond, but really wanted a Bad-Squatch, but the pricing, ohh the pricing. So I sucked it up and said we could do it. Then I finally got in one. Front seat was tighter than my old bronco and harder to get into. But what really stopped us was the fact that the rear cargo was so narrow. Even my 2 dogs and nothing else would be unhappy back there. It just wasnt gonna fit. Right at that time the Maverick came out and Granger offered their $3000 off. That was almost enough to buy a topper. So it just made sense, the MakverickMan would get a Maverick. While it couldnt do what my 96 could offroad, it could certainly keep up with my 93 stock V8 ZJ that was a real comfy daily driver in its time. Then the Tremor pushed it even further. Stock for stock I think we sit between the two, with more cargo room to boot. Once I pay it off a lil more and work on the rear bumper, and lift it, etc, etc I think the Maverick should handle anything a stock 90s Bronco with dual limited slips and the quad shock suspension would.

Glad you got to enjoy both Fords. One day I may find myself in a well used 2dr base, blank slate for going big once parts are cheap and plentiful.

Took the Maverick camping for the first time. So much more storage than my Bronco Sport!

Looks like a good time. Next week I'm off to battle the black flies and get some line in the water.

Ohh yeah I forgot, your the CENTURION! I cant tell ya how lucky you are. I wish I could find one that I could afford to ship to Maui. Im gonna need something with real towing power here in a year or so. Just bought a 4000lb tractor and want to get a dump trailer to haul it and do jobs around the island as a side gig. Some people think about doing door dash or uber on the weekends, others wanna drive a big block and play around on a tractor.
