I miss living in Dayton Ohio. There are still 2 or 3 drive-ins around there. I used to go all the time. Atleast once or twice every summer.

I guess I just have to enjoy the waterfalls and beaches i got.

Are there any Drive-Ins in Hawaii? We used to have plenty in New Jersey, but land value is so out of site here, that we only have one left in the whole state.

No. But I did have my modified Maverick hat on. A lot of people don't even realize that it's a hat for the movie.

Oahu has all the good stuff! Maui only has me. During the dryer months i take a small projector and a block rocker out back to do movies under the stars for my nieces and nephew.

We actually have 10 outdoor theaters in Wisconsin. One of them is next to an airfield for people that fly in.

I also took my Maverick to see Maverick! We went to a regular cinema right after we put orange lettering on the tailgate of our VB baby. We got a lot of head turns in the parking lot.

By the way, did anyone notice the mission in the movie was nearly identical to the mission from a certain 1977 space movie?!?!

Our pizza here is 99% terrible. All the good stuff is in Dayton. I have even considered shipping it for special occasions. Its only like $100 for 1 large day old pizza from Cassanos or Marions .

Anyway poi is mash potato like thing made for taro. Which is a root alot like a potato. People make it in all sorts of ways and dishes.

I do have a good life here though. It beats building fence or working in a treadmill factory thats for sure.

It certainly was. I think they were playing on that normal humans, well as normal as a fighter pilot can be. Can do some extraordinary stuff. You don't need to be a space wizard.

The whole movie was thumping in the Maverick. I'm an audiophile kind of surprised some people think the Maverick doesn't sound good. It does need more Bass but as far as the mids and highs they're pretty good.
