My Maverick came with the Ford installed tonneau cover. I noticed it has tubes running from both sides of the tonneau that go into a hole on the side of the bed . I assume that they are there for drainage of water that collects. Is that a correct assumption? I haven't had the truck out in the rain yet so I am wondering if they work -- or should I anticipate water in the bed of the truck when it rains....

Mine work and occasionally you will need to pull the funnel adapter from the tube and clear that out as well

I have the Ford tri fold hard tonneau but my tunes run to the floor of the bed. I have had no issues yet with water.
