To the Dump

Who says Mavericks can not do real truck stuff? I had to make a Dump run this weekend and the
Mav was loaded to the brim. The weight was not as much as I thought only 140 Kg or 300 lbs. The
Maverick carried it all with out problems. If the bed extender had not come with the truck I probably would
not have ordered it, however after it being very useful for a number of things I am very happy to
have it.

One man's junk may be another man's treasure........... Looks like there is a little bit of Canadian wood on the load which is getting a bit pricey down here south of your border.........

Of course, I am married to a pack rat so envious of the load you are taking off in that good looking truck!! Stay Safe!

Also wishing that you may find some warmth in Chilli-wack B.C. Interesting name to say the least!

At the very least (if no constructive use could be found), that lumber would meet my chainsaw, and then my wood stove.

My bed extender came with my truck.
Drove home, put the thing in the basement where it will stay until I trade up.

For me it’s the most useless factory add on I’ve ever encountered.

In Halq'eméylem, the language of the Stó:lō communities around Chilliwack, Tcil'Qe'uk means "valley of many streams". Hence the origin of the name is First Nations, but has been anglecised.

Many towns in BC have anglecised names. I live in Squamish which in local First Nations language means Mother of Winds. As we are located at the head of Howe Sound, the winds are mighty.

Yeah, that 2x10 was a bit of a problem to toss, but I have a garage with lots of wood I can’t part with, no room for another. The other wood was just IKEA left overs. Clearing out the kids home, three kids under 10 collect stuff!
