Agreed that it probably isn't a terrible number, and likely quite good. I know it shifts around a bit for different flow regimes and I think for personal vehicles some standard characteristic length and speed is assumed for the Reynolds number. ... Just, I wanna see a "real" number

When I first purchased my Maverick I told myself to show restraint on mod purchases. Well that lasted all of the end of my 2nd day of ownership....lol.

I literally just installed my tailgate spoiler yesterday, and it goes with my cab spoiler. The jury is out on if it helps mpg, but I definitely think it adds to the overall appearance.

When it's all said and done you need to do what YOU want and like.

Go big or stay in the garage. Tailgate spoiler must be at least 2 feet tall and include plexiglass window center section to maintain visibility. Criticism I have of Mustang GTD is spoiler too small.

Like you said, if you like it, that's reason enough.
It's a good looking truck.
Thanks for the pics.

I want a full carbon fibre "Roadrunner" style that doubles as a ladder rack.

No trouble finding that in a parking lot... ;)

Voting no on tailgate spoiler.

Aerodynamics probably kicks in around 67-70 MPH and it's not for performance reasons.
Also no reasons for drag talk since you don't mind if there's any MPG changes, which I think is very minimal anyways.

Aesthetically I would vote for a roof spoiler over the tailgate spoiler. Treat yourself or let the wife treat you!

It's minimal enough you can really go either way. I think it looks it right with it. It's purely for aesthetics, it does nothing for mpg.

Looks like you've already got the front splitter, I say go for it to round out the ST look.

Another benefit I haven't seen mentioned yet, I picked up one last year, mainly to cover a large scratch in the ridiculously soft factory plastic. The spoiler is much more durable if you plan to have anything resting on the tailgate lip, and even after hauling bicycles, furniture, plywood, and lumber I still haven't managed to damage the black coating.
