Saw a review for 'The cheapest tonneau you can buy' which was a TipTop soft rollup odered off Amazon for $160. Review was positive but I wanted a soft tri fold, and surprise! Amazon has a Tiptop soft trifold for $160 shipped. Installed it today and gotta say, well worth the money. Easy to follow instructions, perfect fit, seems as nice as some much more expensive covers.
Tiger brand covers also seem to get good reviews for not much more but I didn't see a trifold.
The TipTop trifold doesn't completely fold up, the panel closest to the cab is fixed so to completely open the bed requires removal, which is pretty easy for me and I'm 60.
Came with 6ft of foam sealant tape which covers the front, once installed I had no dayligh showing anywhere. Sizing is perfect, it sits between the lower grooves on the plastic bedrails with only an eighth of an inch gap.

One day I may spring for a more secure hard folding or rolling tonneau but I've never had a tonneau on my truck so this is a cheap way to keep leaves and most of the rain out of the back. If I decide to go back to an open bed I'm not out $800.

You're halfway there just knowing how to make a thread.
Take a picture with your phone.
Type a reply on the thread.
Click at the bottom where it shows a paper clip and says attach file.
Then attach the picture from your phones photos or pictures.

I'm curious how you did this check. Did you lock yourself up in the bed? or put a light in the bed and walked around in the dark?
I found an issue on mine back where the locks are. They didn't exactly put the foam tape properly to seal it up.

I take one of my kids and place them in there. Why else do we have them?

TY Glenn, most sites I follow require hosting pics thru a separate site which is just more trouble than it's worth. Will try to post pics this weekend.
When I installed my tonneau I had to climb in the bed, was a sunny day and with the tailgate open I saw no daylight from the front or the sides. Not saying it's waterproof but the fit with sealant tape up front left no visible gaps.
Can't comment on the fit with the tailgate closed but the tailgate itself has gaps so it doesn't matter.

That's my Marlin j stamp. I started shooting SASS, but too many politics for me. I still carry it when I am out in the back county. My sidearm is more modern a 6" Taurus ported tracker.

As requested. After an hour long shower last night, tailgate took a bit of water in the corners but otherwise dry.
Last pic is my windshield screen my wife made for me, the dogs are actual pictures of our two knuckleheads laid over a pic of a car interior.
