Unless you are not concerned about the cost of replacing the CV axles, you might want to delay on the lift or leveling until you have got the upgraded CV axles. This assumes, you don't already have them.

How important is upgrading if I just want to level it? Not even sure what this means. I’m new to trucks.

The Maverick especially the hybrid, until the '25 model year, is known to have poorly designed or at least manufactured CV axles. Any kind of lift (even leveling, so l understand) on the front would add to their demise. You don't want a dealer blaming your failed CV's on your lift or level and not honoring your 60k powertrain warranty. Your '23 would have been equipped with the early CV axle version. If you don't know it's history to see if it has the new version you might check it through a dealer. The newer axles have not been very plentiful yet as I understand. Many members here have actually undone lifts because of this problem. There are many threads discussing larger tires and what will fit differing factory trim levels. Try the search up top right, the Google search option seems to work best.

Generally for an unmodified hybrid the largest you will get without changing rims from 17" assuming is a 235/65r17

There is some different geometry that allows the EB to go to 245, but the hybrid is best not to

As forthe above, I agree with waterick, if you are going to do that at all, get your hands on some of the CVs from 2025 MY, but before that, get yourself some skid plates, was easy to do on my own on 10" ramps.

The stock Maverick can't handle any lift, without implications. I would suggest a subframe drop before any lift to negate/minimize them.

Would this drop level the truck? That’s basically all I want to do.

It would not, but it would enable the components to stay at same angles when you do level it.

My sugestion is buy a different truck that is made for such things. Consider your request equivalent to wanting to lift an Escape.

The top photo is a 1" rough country leveling kit. It will fit any Maverick (hybrid or EB, AWD or 2wd). I bought it just incase I needed it on my 23 AWD (2nd Photo) I put 265/60/18 on stock suspension with no rubbing. I drove it for 6 months like that, then put the steelies back on and traded it in on my Cyber Orange Hybrid. The level kit (un-used) and the Bronze wheels and tires are available in Phoenix area. Now I am super happy with my Hybrid with 235/60/18 on Mach-E wheels.
