The Silverado EV, Ram EV, Rivian, New Tacoma, and New GM Twins all have the flat extended cab spoiler. It extends the laminar flow and delays the transition to turbulent.Yes.
Notice too that it extends flat off the roofline.
The Maverick add-on spoiler curves upwards.
The Maverick roofline curves downward at the trailing edge to improve airflow. Adding a lip there makes me wonder if that particular spoiler is useful for anything but looks.
That is a major difference with hereto unknown effect. It may be detrimental.
I have seen that exact roofline spoiler on a few new GMC pickups. Not only are they flat, they sit flush at the leading edge vs the Maverick ones that have a large shelf area where it tacks onto the roof.
I wish the Maverick had a spoiler option that simply extended the cab.
