Has anyone noticed the large gap on the side and you can clearly see everything from the opening. So if you have things, tools or personal belonging and even with the trifold secure it gives the bad guys to look into the bed openings. I got this weather rubber stripping from an old project and decide to put it in opening gap. It woks less water gets in and you definitely cannot see what’s inside even shining a flashlight. Of course if they gonna take it they gonna take but it helps a little.

It’s a truck, not a trunk for a car. The bed and tailgate is not designed to hold water. There are gaps/spaces/drain holes, etc.

I am well aware of is not designed to hold water. My main is concern is the gap on the side even you can clearly see if you have golf bags tools and other things. It gives them opportunities to look in. I have look at every truck in our construction site and they don’t have that large of gap where you can clearly see things inside.
