I ordered a factory Cab High Leer shell for my 2024 Lariat Lux Hybrid. It is beautiful and the paint match and fit is perfect. It's pretty much water tight with a tailgate weatherstrip kit. The part carries the Ford tag and was ordered through Ford Parts online. When the cap came, the wiring harness was generic and did not have the logic module for the shared brake and turn signal. It also did not have the factory connector pigtail for the brake/turn signal light and would have required splicing the factory harness. I waited two months for Ford to come up with the part, and then after much looking, E-Trailer came through on both parts. Here is the connector kit: https://www.etrailer.com/Custom-Fit-Vehicle-Wiring/CURT/C59DR.html . Here is the logic module: https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories_and_Parts/Pacer_Performance/PP20-702.html . I'm super happy with it. I wired the shell dome light from the switch for the rear cab light in the bed so it comes on with unlock.

I put the cap on my 2023 XLT Hybrid. Where did you find the tailgate weatherstrip kit?

That's super sharp looking! Do you have other pics or info (and $) anywhere?

I will post some more pics. It is really nice on the interior. It was a very expensive shell listing at $4,000. It is a Ford branded Leer (Snugtop) and they discounted it $600 but required dealer installation at $280. It has a removable front window and a slider that can be opened from the outside so I can open the shell front window from inside the cab. It's handy for checking on the cat when we travel. The side windows open for venting as well. From what I have seen, the A.R.E. shell is similar and less expensive, but I figured I'd have more recourse with Ford on anything related to the shell if I purchased it and had it installed by a dealer plus, the paint match is exactly right, although A.R.E. can probably do that too.

Thank you. I used the Leer website to get a quote, a little under $4k including install (and basic paint colors).
