A friend left his Scirocco on the freeway and walked away.

I had a Chevy LUV pickup I sold many years ago and nearly five years after that I got a notice that it had been towed and I could pick it up after paying for the towing and storage fee. The buyer had never transferred title! I was amazed that there was not $50K in UNPAID TOLLS on it. But I guess I would have been getting toll notices in mail since it still had my tags on it.

Definitely agree with this. I also think it’s important to note that usually people aren’t inspired to post how normal their truck is running. Most people just like those that leave a bad review for a restaurant are usually inspired to do so because of a bad experience.

I understand, ordered a 25 and while I think I will love it (would love it more if they had a phev version I could have ordered) I have trepidation of these things and just hope they have applied a bunch of fixes to new model yr,
-The other thing is that issues you see on the forums are just that….what happened here doesn’t mean it happens to the hundred thousand sold units or you (anyone have stats on that, doubt it but would be useful).
