there's a lot to like in the 2025 with sync4a for all, xlt push to start, 360 camera & forward parking sensors for lariat, etc.

I don't hate the 2025 front end, but I prefer the original. I'm actually really glad they changed the grille and headlights to remove the crossbar which is just a pocket for dead bugs in warm weather here.

I didn't order a 2025 because I have a kid going into college and I have no idea if that's going to cost a little or a lot. Competitive scholarships are finalized / announced by end of February so if you see me ordering a Lobo in March it went well. :ROFLMAO:
I too have a child going to college next year. He & I were told to apply for academic scholarships in March, but you’re saying they’ll be awarded by February. Are the scholarships you’re talking about academic or something else (athletic, monetary need, …)?

He got a 35 on the ACT (the highest score possible is a 36), so we’ve been told he should get some academic scholarships.

I guess they made the changes just for me. I never even gave real attention to the Maverick till I saw the 2025 adaptations. I will admit I'd rather have a matching interior, but I'll take the one I'm getting over another dang beige or gray. So tired of colorlessness.

The front end was fine. The new panels do not add balance to the front so the overall effect is that the cute little truck is hiding something. Looks like Ford designers just said, sorry, we just ran out of time.
As others have pointed out, it is the mystery dash cubby all over again, except now bystanders are left wondering what happened to that cute little truck they thought the Maverick was.
When I look at the new front I see bull horns. I like that. Matches the Maverick name.

so he's a high school senior? should have already applied all over and scholarships of all types are being rewarded, have been for several months at many schools. my son applied for several competitive scholarships that don't award until January and February. all of them have essays and then virtual or in person interviews. generally the top award is a full ride.

if your son is a junior you're very early. btw my son got a 34 on the act, nicely done over there 🤘

Thanks. Congrats to yours as well. Mine is a senior too. He applied to two schools a month ago (yes, he was late), so we’re waiting for acceptance letters. He also applied for the National Honor Merit Scholarship (I think that’s what it’s called) and I believe is a quarter finalist. Waiting to hear about that too.

Thanks for the info. Good luck to your son.

There are people that like AMC Pacer and Pontiac Aztek.
in all fairness, psychiatric medicines are much improved since then . . .
