I assume it houses the CP 360 stuff. I dropped my 360 in order to get scheduled. My question is will my XLT come with that thing? I was hoping not.

All new vehicles will have some kind of box by the mirror for the forward facing camera/pedestrian detection gizmos.

Right. Even without CP360, the Maverick comes standard with AEB and pedestrian detection - even on the most basic XL without options. So all of them have forward facing cameras in that housing.

The Lariat Luxury systems are fusion systems that use that camera as well as a radar in the grille.
