Curious as to why a post of an EV charging adapter CCS to NACS (Tesla locations) is posted here. Did you used to have a Mustang E? I have my Rivian supplied one that is identical to the one that you are selling. Just like Ford, Rivian gave me one at no charge. I now use it with my BMW, as they are universally accepted.

Love the letter from Ford in the background. Glad that the electric "revolution" is coming to an end. Gasoline won. "Electric-only" cars were always just a gimmick.

No gimmick, just another choice. Think back to the horse & buggy days when the car came about, people back then thought it was just a gimmick!

I guess I should have read your post before we bought our 27 Bolt!

Yes, some people post about electric vehicles with no knowledge of them. Except what they "learn" from trump and fox "news".
I know all about them. The main failure of them is their inadequate range and lack of charging stations (you must not live in the rural western U.S. or travel to far off places well off the freeway routes) versus reliable fuel powered vehicles and the status of the inadequate electrical grid in many parts of the country. Can always find a station with a backup generator that can still pump gas in a power outage but good luck with EV charging. I also watch a row of EV cars sitting at charging plugs as we travel that are there when we pull up and gas up our car in just a few minutes and will still just be sitting there twiddling their thumbs long after we have quickly filled our tank for another 500 to 600 miles. Glad they like to waste time in life sitting plugged into a charger. I think your comment on our choice of getting our news and a snipe at our country's President is quite political in nature and not appropriate on a vehicle forum. I wonder if this forum's moderator still cares about that?

The current administration uses renewable energy and electric vehicles as red meat for it's base. It's just a fact. People, such as yourself, can take pot shots at electric vehicles, like post #3, but god forbid anybody mention what is being done to inhibit renewables and line the pockets of the big oil companies.

Not an “end”.
Just a politically induced pause.
As technology progresses, it’s inevitable that electric will be back, stronger than before.
Renewables are the future. Or our great grandchildren are doomed.
WE……..have lived in the best of times.
The Founding Fathers (and we know who they are) left us a great country.
Now the Damning Fathers (and we know who they are) are trying their best to kill It.

Amazing how many other countries are in on the electric vehicle "gimmick "! My comments were not a snipe. The administration has absolutely tried to shut down the wind, solar and electric vehicle industries. As for my experience with electric vehicles, my Mach E with 18k miles was charged at least 80% of the time by free charging. And I didn't have to sit and wait. Target down the street from me has 9 Free level 2 chargers. I drop off the car when not in use and pick up with 270 miles of charge. And the rare times I travel it takes 20 minutes while I have a coffee break. On weekends my work lot also allows me to charge while I am working.

"Free" charging at Target paid by all the rest of us by increasing prices. Nothing is "free", someone is paying for it.

Industrial-scale solar is an absolute scam. The amount of energy and environmental damage by the manufacturing of the panels and limited lifespan coupled with the fact that they only work part of any 24 hour day makes them not a viable replacement for reliable petroleum, low-sulfur clean coal (like found out here in the western U.S.) unlike the dirty high sulfur coal back east, and natural gas.

What this country needs is a whole bunch of newly constructed coal-fired power plants. The amount of easily recoverable low-sulfur clean coal in my state alone could provide up to 300 years of the entire U.S. demand for coal. And that is not even including the available coal in our adjoining states.

Wind power is an even bigger scam by calling it "renewable" and environmentally friendly. They take a massive amount of raw materials to manufacturer and transport them, have even a shorter lifespan than even solar, and there is no way at all to recycle them when they are decommissioned. Plus they only work when the wind is blowing, and can't be used when the wind is blowing too much.

I don't really care if people want to buy an EV vehicle but am glad there are no longer the special tax credits to artificially make them appear competitive with traditional internal combustion engines. They certainly are not.

Coming back to the Maverick, which I understood this forum was supposed to be about, the hybrids are a great way to give greater range and not be stuck if the power grid goes down. You can always siphon some gas from another vehicle or can, but can't do that with electric vehicles.
