Tailgate weight

Wow for a little truck the tailgate opening weight feels heavier than my 05 F150 and 2021 Ranger. Thicker top too.
Weird maybe it’s because it’s lower just weird to me.

About half of new owners have installed the tailgate assist strut since it did not come with it like the larger trucks.
