Truck looks good. Side question, was the black oval frame for the logo easy to put on and does it distract the backup cam a bit?I have the Ford spoiler and I wouldn’t do it.
In fact, that’s the only thing I wouldn’t consider doing with the tail gate spoiler attached. Anything else isn t effected. Even hauling plywood in the second gate position doesn’t touch the spoiler.
Those spoilers are painted black, not molded black plastic like the rest of the bed trim. Even with a tail mat I suspect the paint would mar over time. And yes, the 3M tape, as good as it is, might work loose.
Why not just get a 2 x 8, or what ever, screw some fork quick release mounts on it, and ride them in the bed?
How cool do you want your truck to look?
BTW, with a Ford trifold tonneau cover the tailgate spoiler increased my mpg, especially on the highway.![]()
