Tailgate letters for the Iconic Silver

they only look black due to the way the natural light is hitting the letters. the letters are actually chrome and in most cases when you look at them they look chrome just like the AWD badge. I know it’s probably hard to believe based on my picture but it really is the case. If I get a chance I’ll try and snap a picture depicting the chrome loo

I'm about to order my third Maverick hybrid in the color and with the options I want when the 24MY order window opens next week. Until the '24 comes in, I'm driving a silver XLT hybrid as my temporary ride. I'm going with a silver and black theme with my graphics and exterior accessories, a far cry from the red, white, and blue theme of the Maverick that was totaled.

Thanks again to the reply! I see black letters with chrome around the edge of them. Which letters did you purchase. I was hoping for the letters to look like the chrome AWD and Ford emblem surround.

I’m looking to match the chrome AWD badge on mine too. Thinking of getting raised chrome letters .post a pic of yours when you get them.

I purchased them at Etsy, I am currently traveling / visiting Oklahoma and will try to get a link posted here next week.

I purchased them back in November 23, 2021 and did not have my Maverick until November of 2022.

I'm also on the older side, and perhaps have passed the chrome phase while owning the GMC Envoy, having upgraded the wheels, trim, bull bar, and step-hitch. Began favoring the blacked out trim with my Outback, and seem to favor the black trim on the Maverick. - Both have quite a bit of black to begin with, and black lettering looks great on the Atlas Blue, and just matches silver so well, I'd probably go either black on Iconic Silver or maybe the patriotic flag lettering. (I almost ordered the red, white, and blue flag letters for mine).

If my Maverick was silver, I'd 99% go with black letter, but get the 3-D letters, they look awesome, compared to the flat decal lettering.

Thank you. I think you are probably right. Now have to decide on glossy or matte.
