Tailgate Lettering & Side Marker Inserts - Lava

I'm looking at the different options for tailgate lettering and custom side marker badges. It gave me an idea, but I have not been able to find anything already on the market. My idea is to make them look like the inside of the truck is made from lava. I'll try and attach a picture or a link below toi show you what I mean (note, the picture is from the bases of Warhammer 40,000 miniatures, not truck parts). Does anyone know of a place to source something like this, or if not and this would have to be something I would custom paint on plain black inserts, what kind of pains would I need to use and what other considerations would there be?
