Easy gate assist install except for the lower gate attachment point, hard to hold the pressure on the inner (set)nut and turn the Allen bolt. The toneau was really straight forward, seals very nice and closes taut. Stores very nicely rolled up on the bulkhead. Ensure you close the trail gate before tightening side rails. By the instructions measurements it would have interfered with closing. Nice fit and finish on the Truxedo toneau.

I've had a Truxedo Pro for 2 years now, love it as well.

After your installation, something now looks missing in this picture.

For the factory tie down bracket that had to be removed from the tailgate - there are options for a replacement tie down point that works with the strut. I have one available that I make and sell.

Works well and clears the new strut and no issues with the cable. And made in the USA by a fellow Maverick owner. I have a thread here in the For Sale forum. Don't lose a tie-down point!

Might be late for you, but some tips from others on this forum that helped me:
  • Remove most of the Loctite or all of it and apply your own fresh.
  • Spin the nut most of the way down before attempting final install. Leave just enough room to rotate it (width of the sheet metal plus a hair).
