It appears in the generated photos in the build that the Mav will come will max tint in the rear and some sort of tint in the front windows. Does anybody have any insight on this?

If you're talking about the Computer-Generated Images (CGI) on the Maverick's build, that's just added for aesthetics and dramatic effect.some sort of tint in the front windows. Does anybody have any insight on this?
I was at San Jose dealer and saw this XLT lux and can confirm that front side window is tinted or at least I thought it’s tinted. Not sure how much but it was tinted. If you're talking about the Computer-Generated Images (CGI) on the Maverick's build, that's just added for aesthetics and dramatic effect.
There are plenty of photos of training/demo Mavericks that show that the front windows are as clear as a fish bowl (or any other vehicle's non-tinted windows).
On the side windows? There are also cutouts to allow for the cameras and sensors needed to have an optimal view
I can't think of any vehicle manufacturer that tints front windows by default, they will tint the rear but never(to my knowledge) the front. It appears in the generated photos in the build that the Mav will come will max tint in the rear and some sort of tint in the front windows. The Ford sight mentions cutouts for the sensors on the front tint and I thought a fairly high front tint.I can't think of any vehicle manufacturer that tints front windows by default, they will tint the rear but never(to my knowledge) the front.
No, it's the inverted keystone cutout you see in the windshield frit above the rearview mirror. The camera only looks out the windshield. On the side windows?
Front windows usually have about 70-85% VLT to help with heat rejection and UV. There should be a marking near the lower edge that'll say what minimum it is.I can't think of any vehicle manufacturer that tints front windows by default, they will tint the rear but never(to my knowledge) the front.
That's definitely different story, UV protection does not mean that the window is tinted(to the naked eye). No, it's the inverted keystone cutout you see in the windshield frit above the rearview mirror. The camera only looks out the windshield.

I agree. The windshield and front side windows of any vehicle for sale in the US are clear glass. They might have a negligible amount of darkness, but it's virtually clear. Anything more is film applied aftermarket. Some European vehicles have a blueish hue on the windows, but the VLT is the same as any other vehicle with non-tinted windows. That's definitely different story, UV protection does not mean that the window is tinted(to the naked eye).
To me when you say tint that means that a film to darken the windows (restrict the light that gets in) was applied to the vehicle, this has nothing to do with UV protection, some films(usually cheap ones)can be dark and have negligible UV protection.
So I will reiterate, I don't know of any vehicle manufacturer that will apply by default a dark tint to the front windows due to the fact there is no federal standard as to what level of tinting can be applied to them, it is all based on state laws and that would be impossible for them to do it one way for one and another way for different state(commifonia BS rules non withstanding)
