Was chatting with 'Diode Dynamics' about good was to mount auxiliary/Off-Road lights on the Mav'. I was eyeballing behind the grill even though it's not ideal with light output, but the Mav's doesn't have a very solid 'bumper' and it will look not so good IMHO. Very tight behind the grill, and as seen on the pictures for this bracket, you're gonna have to pull a fee of the air shutter blades.
This is not anything neither me or DD are affiliated with, even though it is designed with their lights in mind, but thought I'd share!

It’s looks really cool but I’m all for functionality, so I’d get the kit that sticks out the grill a bit that they sell.

There is minimal impact to placing pods behind the grille as mentioned by Justin.

We have various kits for other models that are placed behind the grille.

The minimal impact on the output is due to the use of TIR optic technology.
