Status Tracker Works Sometimes

Just curious if others are having this issue. I received an order number and VIN for my Maverick that I ordered on 10/14/2021. When I go to the status tracker, 80% of the time it won't work. It simply takes me back to the page where it asks for the order # and VIN. Every once and a while it will work but mostly it doesn't. Also, I got a VIN but no scheduled build date. Should I have received a build date at the same time? Thanks.

Cannot speak to the problems you're experiencing with the tracking site as have not encountered same (maybe try clearing your browser cache). Also there are multiple instances here of people reporting the tracking site is down or funky - that situation usually resolves by the next day, it seems, anecdotally.

That said, can give my personal experience. I only peek at the tracking site maybe once every ten days or so. Oh, and am one of the percentage who have not ever received any e-mails from Ford.
Reservation made 8/1
Order confirmed 8/4 and order number received (found all this out, again by phone, sometime later on - date uncertain)
Order verified as everything A-OK by phone with Ford mid-November (was getting nervous as hybrid cut-off date approached)
VIN received 12/17 (via Ford toll-free phone number)
In Production status showing on tracking site 1/13
Window sticker available for viewing on tracking site 1/13
No build date yet.

All this applies to when I access the Ford tracking site, shop.ford.com.vehicleordertracking

I never got an email from Ford and the dealership where I ordered the pick-up told me all they had was an order number. After a few months, I called Ford Company and they gave me a VIN number. The site worked for a while with the VIN and Order number but as of two weeks ago it won't work for me anymore. When I enter the VIN and Order number on the ford website it just takes me back to the page where you enter the VIN and Order number. Although I had a VIN, they never gave me a scheduled build date.

Thank you. Do you happen to have the toll free number to call. I was never given one. I ordered my truck on 10/14

My experience has been 50/50.... it seems to work sometimes during the day, sometimes it just bounces back to the Order/VIN form entry.
Maybe they run updates as they get data from the factories? Seems it should all be real time... but who knows?
