Spotters guide to 4K tow equipped Mavericks? Is this one for sure?

Hi folks,

So browsing Mavericks for sale all over teh intertubes. and several times come across Mavs claimed to have 4k tow, but vin supplied and see no sign of it on windowsticker, so there's a lot of "noise" out there...

But I came across this one which claims 4K tow but VIN not available so far, and spotted what should be the 4K tow package controls on pic, I think, just wanted to confirm and there's no other way it could be equipped and have stuff there.

If it's got the dual-cover trailer connector with 7-pin connector then it has the 4k tow.

That’s the trailer brake controller in the dash under the headlamp switch. That would only be there for a Mav that has the 4K tow package.

It's going on the list... I gotta get up close and personal with that brake pedal though, pics aren't good enough to be quite sure whether it's salt stain, driveway dust, 250,000 miles of wear or "brakes ridden with the left foot all the time."

Agree, the dual connection in the rear is the tell tale key to 4K.

my 2025 Maverick Lariat AWD Hybrid has the 2K Towing so it doesn’t have all that extra stuff…

That's how I've been guesstimating, so good to confirm! Inside photos: trailer brake controller. Outside photos: 7-pin connector.
