I’ve had 3 Mavericks. Our AWD Lariat Hybrid being the top trim. I LOVED the lights on our 22 XLT. Not liking these new projector lights. I’ve seen other threads about the “spots” but man it’s driving me bonkers. My eyes seem to go into the spots when driving at night. They are in the worst place in my opinion. Any way to adjust these or otherwise not have those spots?

edit for clarification: spots are on my 25 Hybrid Lariat. Photo taken in daylight but inside parking garage. They are very much more noticeable at night.

My 2024 AWD Eco Lariat has no spots. I’ve got the best headlamp light pattern I’ve ever had in any vehicle.:’P

I’ve seen posts on all kinds of quirks and issues like the spots. I’ve had zero issues with this truck.

I read they are suppose to be in place to not blind oncoming drivers. Dont know if there is any truth to this.

I have a 25 Lariat Hybrid with exactly the same problem. However, two days ago a deer decided to hit the front of my truck and take out the left front headlight. He (a buck) got up and walked away and left me with $7.3K repair bill. When the truck is repaired I will see if at least one of the spots goes away. Otherwise, I'll be back to my dealer to get it fixed (I had reported it and they were :researching" it with Ford.)

My '25 Lariat has the spots. Mine are even worse than the OP's picture. They must be a "feature" because it looks like the '25 Lariats have them.

Yes, I have noticed those spots which seem more pronounced on my Lariat than what you're showing. I'll try and get a photo or two next time and post.

It’s frustrating. I just came off a Lightning (Lariat trim) and as mentioned I’ve had previous mavericks. I know they can make good headlights while still adhering to regulations regarding not blinding oncoming vehicles.
I took this photo in daylight in a parking garage- they are absolutely more pronounced with nighttime driving.

my wife drives a VW ID.4, which I absolutely despise, but the headlights are absolutely incredible, best I’ve had in any vehicle. It makes a big difference, unfortunately I find myself driving at night often. Especially with the upcoming fall/winter season.

You don't say what model year. So I will guess it is 2025. I have passed 1 2025 xl or xlt on the road at night and the headlights didn't blind me.
Correct, it’s a 25 Lariat. My previous was 22 XLT

Oh that’s horrible, sorry to hear! Glad it seems you’re okay though. Hope the Mav can be fixed up quickly.

I have a 25 Lariat and yes they are there. My test show it is from the logo embedded in the plastic lens. I hate it as well.
