Has anyone had issues with the speed compensated volume not working correctly? 2022 lariat hybrid, I didn't notice it working since new. I've had it in to be fixed twice. This last time (3rd time) they sent me a video of the tech driving it and turning it off and back on to show a 'slight' increase in volume. Nothing happens when setting it to low or medium, but when set to high, it turns up the volume about 1 'notch'. They marked it as working and gave it back to me. I'm thinking about pushing back on this, but wanted to see if anyone else has noticed this issue.

TBH, this is one of those things I disable. But I recently noticed after an update that it was set to on and never noticed it. Probably because I usually turn the volume down myself anyways, but who knows. Never trusted these weird settings and never will.

Agree. IMO, it's like the automatic HVAC controls; another lame attempt to automate something that never works right and is more trouble than it's worth.

There is a cap so if you're listening loud, speed sensitive volume may not turn up much or at all.

If you're at like 10 volume and have it set to high it should definitely increase the volume noticeably when you're going 60-70+.

It does not do anything below 40ish that I've noticed. But I also disable it because I do listen loud sometimes and don't want it even louder.

Mine is set to high.

I have noticed that mine does actually work to some extent. Especially from "take off" that is, I get in and sit there letting car idle for a minute listening to the forecast or something then when I shift out of park and hit the the gas I have noticed a few time where the volume "jumped up" a bit.

I mean if I set it to 10 and floor it the music doesn't follow the rpms but it will increase like someone above said my a notch or 2.

Also the auto climate control I haven't used since i bought it i still set it to what I want like a car from the 90s. This temp, fan on this fast, adjust as needed. 😁

My auto volume increase is also set to high and it never worked from day one either. I usually have to increase the volume my self.

I have it on, never seems to do anything, I always have to adjust it myself. Not a unique problem to the Maverick, I've never had it work for me in any vehicle I've owned.

I have a 23 Lariat and I don’t think I have it on mine. I have to turn the sound up when on the highway. I listen to books all the time. They require a higher volume all the time compared to music.

I have disabled this in every vehicle that has ever had it. I want to control my volume. The car doesn't know if I'm on a worn asphalt highway or a freshly paved one. Road noise varies significantly.
